The Visnea plugin for Photoshop: install it and work from selection to new layer

The plugin puts Visnea inside Photoshop: select an area on the canvas, describe the edit, get the result as a new layer. Models, history and balance are the same as in the web cabinet; there is no separate subscription. Here is the full path from access to your first edit.

Step 1. Unlock access

Plugins are available to users whose top-ups total 500 ₽ or more (the threshold is shown in the cabinet; it is lifetime cumulative, not a single payment). Once you cross it, access stays unlocked permanently — progress is visible on the "Plugins" tab: "Topped up: X of 500 ₽".

The license binds to devices — up to 3 machines at a time. You can unbind a device or reset all of them on the same "Plugins" tab.

Step 2. Download and install

You need Photoshop 24.0 or newer (Photoshop 2023+).

1. Cabinet → "Plugins" → "Download for Photoshop (.ccx)". The file is called visnea-photoshop.ccx.
2. Recommended: double-click the file — Adobe Creative Cloud installs the plugin and lists it under installed plugins.
3. If Creative Cloud is not available: install manually — unpack the .ccx as a zip archive into Photoshop's plugin folder, or drag the file onto the Photoshop window.
4. Restart Photoshop.

The panel appears under Plugins → Visnea. Dock it next to your Layers panel — its minimum width is small, so it lives comfortably in a narrow column.

Step 3. Sign in

On first launch the panel asks you to sign in to your Visnea account. The access key is kept in Photoshop's secure storage, so you will not re-enter it on every start. You can sign out from the panel itself; signing out removes the key from the device.

Step 4. Your first canvas edit

The classic scenario — inpainting by selection:

1. Open a document and select an area with any selection tool (lasso, marquee, quick selection).
2. In the Visnea panel, describe what should appear there: for example, add a sailboat to the lake.
3. Run the generation. The cherry cost is shown before you run — billing is identical to the website.
4. The result lands as a new layer on top of the original (named like "Visnea — sailboat"). The original stays untouched: if you do not like it, hide or delete the layer and run again.

Beyond selection edits, the panel can generate from scratch onto the active document, use the whole document or a single layer as the source, and download the result as a file when you do not need a layer.

Worth knowing

• One balance. Cherries are debited from the same account as on the web; top-ups happen in the site cabinet.
• Selection = mask. The cleaner the selection, the cleaner the seam. Same rules as in the web Editor: select with a small margin and include shadows.
• All models included. The model picker is right in the panel — from Z-Image for drafts to Nano Banana Pro for finals.
• Updates. The current panel version is shown on the "Plugins" tab. Updating works the same way: download the fresh .ccx and install it over the old one.

Troubleshooting

• The panel does not show up in the menu — check your Photoshop version (24.0+ required) and restart the app after installing.
• The panel asks you to sign in again — sign in once more: the key may have been cleared with Photoshop's settings.
• "Device limit reached" — unbind an old machine on the "Plugins" tab and sign in again.
